I like this item and felt that it has worth for the money.

I put this on my 2008 Kawasaki KLR650. I need to drill 4 holes on original carrier to attach with the mounting kit comes with this item.
I need an electric drill which can drill through a steal plate.

If your motorcycle has rear carrier with steal bars, you may attach it without drilling parts. Mine was flat pannel like carrier which screws from mounting kit can not get through.

It is not made by major brand but price is reasonable. It hold my HJC L size full face helmet and still have space to put other stuff.

There is no rubber sealing between upper and lower trunk. I haven't ride in hevy rain. But flange on upper side which overwraps to lower parts about half 3/4 inch may privent water to comes in.

This trunk make my motorcycle "commuting express" with minimum investment.
