(this is a review I wrote for a dirt bike forum; please excuse the length)I really like my SPX and am impressed with the quality of workmanship. I had been in the market for a new helmet and I tried on my son's SPX and loved it, so I started to look for one for myself. I wanted a solid color (white, actually) but couldn't find a good enough deal (it turns out that solids retail for more initially (!?) and stay high priced since they don't change year-to-year). Well, I saw a great deal on a red SPX on Amazon Prime ($64.99 delivered!) and pulled the trigger. I received the helmet 3 days later and was blown away with the quality and looks. BTW, I'm guessing this helmet that I bought in October 2010 was last year's model which partially explains the price. If you're looking for this kind of deal, you have to be a little patient.
