Constructed of water repellant yet breatheble "Weatherguard" Polyester. Double top stitched for durability. Lower panel is heat resistant "Thermoguard". Clamshell vents prevent condensation and lofting. A chamois panel is stitched in where cover would touch windscreen and fuel tank areas to prevent scratches. Reinforced Poly grommets are at center and at front wheel area for security and a snug fit and will accept a cable lock. Fits my 03 VTX 1300 perfectly even over my windshield. I have put it on numerous times with hot pipes and the material holds up very well. I have also used this during two snow storms and I am very pleased with how well it protects my bike. It covers my entire bike even with the windshield and saddle bags on. The material is good quality and does not damage the paint or windshield. The cover has straps that allow you to tighten the cover down onto the bike allowing it to fit snug around the bottom of the bike. However, after looking at other bikes (it has been over 15 years since I rode), I decided to get a 2011 Honda 750 Shadow Aero. The cover arrived and I thought about returning it. But it fits completely over my bike (no major excess material) and the lock is nice too. It holds easily to the bike so even in high winds, it doen't blow away, and keeps the rain off.
