I saw these on a bike on the freeway and knew that they were exactly what I wanted. You see, I have an older 1983 Honda Nighthawk in fine condition and those huge chrome, expensive add-on pegs were just not right for it. Plus you would have to find some kind of clamp and footpegs to mount on them. This usually brings the price to well over $60.00. These are small, good looking and match the bike. Made for clamping to 1 inch highway bars or engine guards. I am going to buy another set for my wife's bike now. Many bikes need a place to put your feet when cruising, and the more positions you can sit in, the longer you can ride.

It was part of a larger Christmas present for my husband. He's happy, so I'm happy. They are functional for what he needed and easy to put on the motorcycle.

The casting on these definitly leaves something to be desired. I had to file down extra ridges on the inside of the clamp to get it to fit my engine guard correctly. I had a decent hand file and it only took me 5 min, so it wasn't that big of a deal.
They have clamped down on my 1" engine guards pretty well (even though the bars weren't perfectly circular), and have been holding well for 2 months. Definitly nice to have, and can't expect much more for the price.
