IT WAS INSTALLED DIRECTLY OVER THE FRONT ENTRY DOOR. IT WAS VERY EASY TO ACCESS. HOWEVER, IT DIED,VERY LITTLE VOLUME. THE ONLY REAL REPLACEMENT WAS THE JENSEN 910. THE PRICE WAS OVER $200 IN MOST PLACES PLUS SHIPPING. I SEARCHED AND FOUND AN EQUIPMENT DEALER WHO SHIPPED IT TO ME FOR $160..IT WAS NOT A LONG INSTALL. I HAD TO ABANDON ALL OF THE ORIGINAL RADIO AND PARTS. I WAS ABLE TO MOUNT AND INSTALL THE JENSEN JUST ABOUT THE SAME SPOT. THE ANTENNA WAS A PROBLEM BECAUSE OF ROUTING ISSUES. I USED AN ADVANCE AUTO UNIT THAT IS USED ON THE INSIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD WITH DOUBLE FACED TAPE. IT FIT PERFECTLY UNDER THE ACCESS PANEL WHERE THE UNIT WAS MOUNTED. IT WAS A SMALL EFFORT TO GET ALL THE WIRES IN THAT CAVITY. I ALSO RAN NEW HD SPEAKER WIRE. I USED THE EXISTING SPEAKERS. IT SOUNDED GREAT. HOWEVER, IT WOULD NOT TURN ON ALL THE TIME. HAD TO BE A POWER ISSUE. I TOOK THE PANEL DOWN. I HAD USED A CONNECTOR...
