They have a very nice finish and look identical to the more expensive brand. The chrome is of high quality and they are very beefy. The rubber pads insulate vibration well and prevent tingly hands after long rides. It is truly a huge improvement in comfort over the Factory VTX grips. They look fantastic too. The problem I had with these was the installation. They don't come with adhesive or any instructions. They are NOT exactly like the "Other" brand so they don't fit exactly. You may spend a good deal of time installing the throttle side grip. The clutch side grip went on without a hitch in only a few minutes and was an exact fit. The throttle side is NOT a 5 minute install like the "Other" brand,(At least not on a VTX). I chose not to use the throttle sleeve that comes inside of the throttle grip, as it did not look any where near the quality of the OEM throttle sleeve.
