This cover is 100% water proof and completely wraps around and covers my motorcycle. It does come with a cable and lock but I thought that was just a bonus (it isn't a good lock). Just got the XXL Heavy Duty cover for my DL1000 V-Strom. It fits the bike perfectly even with the Givi hard saddle bags on.For a heavy duty model, I think the material is a bit light (compared to another cover I have) but it seems to be well made. We'll see how well it holds up to time and the elements. Having it be lightweight does have some advantages. It is easier to get on/off and more compact to store. It comes with a nice little storage bad which will make it easy to toss into my saddle bags. Overall I am very pleased considering the price and I would recommend this product to a friend. The cable and lock are very light duty.
