I feel secure that if he gets whipped by a branch or we take a tumble, he won't be injured by an impact to his head.However, the helmet does slip around a lot on his head, and I must frequently adjust it. I imagine that it is difficult to engineer a product that will stay on a dog's head, much less stay adjusted correctly, and I am satisfied with the product. I just wish that more thought had been given to the strapping mechanism to keep it on better. He leaves it alone when riding, as if he understands why it is important to wear it, but as soon as we leave the ATV he whips it off his head in a jiffy.
