It installed in minutes. It has come in come in very handy on weekend cruises and really great on a 1500 mile trip that I took. This product installed cleanly and looks great on the bike. However, there is minor problem with the slot in the kaddy that is used to attach it to the mounting bracket. The way it's supposed to work is that you install the included rubber gromet, push the kaddy and gromet over the mounting bracket and slide the kaddy down into position. The problem I encountered is that the rubber gromet was promptly sliced in half by the sharp edges of the kaddy.
