The second thing was the richness and softness of feel of the very thick leather. This jacket is comfortable from day one and will save your hide in the event of cold weather or an unfortunate event like an accident to some extent. This jacket should last many years to come. For that, I bought another to replace it. It is very thick, heavy leather and you will be thankful you have it on if something should happen. That being said, it is very hot in summertime. I own Allstate leather and Fox Creek. Fox creek is the best all around but $600, Allstate is great for the price, only $170. Now this one was supposed to be perfect, but, the leather is great, the cut is great, the comfort is great, the stitching is awful, u can see the white threads popping out all over, when I tried it on, I was afraid to move my arms, waiting for the seams to burst. The removable lining is attached via snap buttons, and not a zipper, so every time u put it on, couple of snaps just come loose. Also, even w/ the lining removed, the jacket way too hot, so forget about using it summer, or even spring and autumn (california weather). regrettably, I'm gonna return this one. |
