Our Universal Vista Cruise Control helps reduce rider fatigue. Just lock it down and give your right hand and arm a rest. Enjoy your next trip without uncomfortable hand and arm fatigue. This cruise control has a ring assembly that fits over the top of the grip. This ring assembly connects to an arm that goes over the top of the switch housing. The other end of the arm connects to a clamp that attaches to the handlebar between the throttle housing and the switch housing.

| 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful  Throttle Tensioner relieves hand fatique., By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: MOTORCYCLE VISTA CRUISE CONTROL 7/8 INCH BAR UNIVERSAL FIT I have always heard that throttle locks were dangerous, but this product does not lock the throttle in place so you can't possibly move it. With this product you will initially customize the amount of tension that's applied to the rotation of the throttle so it won't just snap closed if you loosen your grip. And even with the tensioner applied you can still adjust (open and close) the throttle just like normal however it will now stay at your last position. Lift the lever to release the tensioner and the throttle will once again snap closed if you let it go. If you have the correct amount of tension set up you could leave the tensioner on for your entire ride if you were so inclined. I left the tensioner on while I rode through traffic the first time out with it and wasn't worried in the least as I could adjust the throttle (and even shift) at any time. The only issue was one of adjustment so that the throttle moved freely whilst the Vista Cruise was disengaged.Used it on a trip from NE PA. to the Amish country in eastern OH and it worked like a charm! However, it is what it is, it is NOT a "cruise control," it merely locks the throttle at some position and holds it there. Through the hilly sections of PA it needed fairly constant adjustments to maintain a given speed. It does take up a little bit of the hand grip space but still works comfortable. I average about 10K to 12K miles a year riding between my two bikes the long trips were really starting to give me major wrist and elbow issues. This made my last 2,500 miles much easier without the wrist pain. It was money well spent at a very good price |
