Product Description

Draggin' Liners are designed to give you great abrasion protection while still wearing your favorite pair of pants! These 100% Kevlar® "long johns" utilize the same highly abrasion resistant material used in our Draggin' Jeans, Jackets, and Shirts. The unique Kevlar® mesh knit, which is comfortable and breathable, allows for excellent air circulation in the hot summer months as well as layers well in the winter to help insulate you from the cold. Draggin' Liners are constructed with an elastic waistband for comfort. This high tech garment has elastic stirrups at the bottom cuff to accommodate different inseams for men and women as well as prevent them from riding up. Most importantly Draggin' Liners have two layers of Kevlar® at the knees and seat for added protection. Each pair of Draggin' Liners is handmade in the USA! The natural color of Kevlar® is canary yellow. Once it is exposed to sunlight it will deepen to a goldenrod shade. Slight variation in color (as well as the color change) is not only normal, but to be expected. Each pair of Draggin' Liners can accomodate inseams between 30" to 36". Size Small fits 28 to 30 inch waists, Medium 32 to 34 inch waists, Large 36 to 38 inch waists, and X-Large 40 to 42 inch waists.

4.0 out of 5 stars Kevlar long underwear, January 17, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This is listed as 100% kevlar, and I don't doubt that. (ankle cuffs excluded I believe)

Their Draggin' Jeans are well known, but are not fully lined. Jeans rip apart, so I like the fully covered option.

They are a little bulky, about like a thick waffle weave long underwear.

They are quite porous, so they don't insulate all that much, which is nice for summer. For winter it means an extra layer of bulk over/under real insulation, which can get a little thick. While moving, you can definitely feel airflow through them. I wear a wind breaker between these and jeans when the windchill gets low. They offer practically no insulation at speed. I have not worn them in summer heat yet, but I would expect them to be ok while moving, standing around might get a little warm.

I don't like the stitching on the ankle straps. I sewed them to the cuff with a box stitch and an X (go look at a nylon strap on your luggage/backpack). Otherwise, the strap is... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Protection option under dress clothes when riding, July 28, 2011
By
Stumptowner (Stumptown USA) - See all my reviews
These are similar to long underwear but without the insulating qualities, which is good, since I use them in warm weather. I was looking for a way to safely ride to work in business-casual slacks - I could use mesh riding pants, but I wanted to run errands after work without taking off a bunch of stuff.

These suit that purpose well. They are a tad long for me, but I can adjust or re-sew. They appear very well made (in the United States!) and should last for many years.

4.0 out of 5 stars something i can wear daily - need to find looser jeans, July 21, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
I purchased these so I could wear everyday jeans or slacks or cargo pants and have complete abrasion resistance. I have riding jeans but they aren't full kevlar and not very good looking. With these I open my options up for styling.

The liner isn't itchy, and you can wear it all day. I purchased a size small. I'm 5'6" and 160lb and I wear 30x30 pants. these seem a bit big. I'm not certain if them being a bit big is by design for added comfort and airflow? They are about...2" too long so it bunches up a bit. It makes my jeans a bit tighter as well b/c of the fit.

The bonus is that in cold weather you can wear a layer under them.

I have not ridden them in hot weather (maybe later this afternoon) but they seem to flow well enough.

The negative would be if you're not riding and you're walking around outside on a hot 90+ day, they may prove uncomfy.
